Has anyone found drivers or tried this card from adaptec
in a mirrored or raid 5 config?

Hello debian-isp,
If there is some realisation of VRRP [RFC 2338] under Linux?
Best regards,

I have a PIII 733 with a MSI - 6309 PGA motherboard, and 512MB of PC133 ( 2
x 256mb modules ), the BIOS maps 512MB no problems, but when debian boots it
only maps 64MB. Any ideas please???
In another case like this we had to swap a new MB in, but surely there must
be something with debian to fix

I think you can append a line in lilo like "me
Add
append="mem=512MB"
to /etc/lilo.conf then:
run lilo
reboot
voila

We are having alot of trouble with cheaper ( around $700 AU ) hubs, what do
you recommend ? as a good hub / switch for an isp, approx 40 machines hooked
up ( 15 for isp ), is also the heart as there is 7 other smaller pops that
connect via frame to this point.
What do you think??
Regards
Some good switches are:
HP Procurve 2424M
Cisco 2924XL
Bay Networks 350T
(all managed, all 10/100, and modestly priced for what you get)
