Does this config use the spamassassin daemon (spamc - spamd)?
I am using this config also, but I don't know how to tell if postfix is using
the spamassassin daemon or not...

I simply just installed spamassassin from cpan and restarted amavis,
amavis automatically found it and started using it. Check your
amavisd.conf as theres a few options in there to tinker with to get it
working right.

The next time you vote, remember that "Regime change begins at home"
On the Section I of your /etc/amavis/amavisd.conf, be sure to comment this line:
@bypass_spam_checks_acl = qw( . );
This is my sources.list's additional entry (woody):
deb http://people.debian.org/~aurel32/BACKPORTS stable main
but backports.org and apt-get.org could give you another resource

This is kind of a Postfix MTA question.
I was wondering if anyone has both clamd and amavisd working with spamassassin
on a mail-gateway.
I recently installed amavisd with clamd. It works great for virus scanning.

In the bsdish slang, raw devices are character devices, so /dev/hd? are
not exactly raw devices, but block devices.

don't use dd for that. set up a raid-1 mirror instead. it's easy to do, only
