Hi,
I am trying to measure HTTP latency using echoping. But I cannot seem to be able to connect to remote hosts. It does connect when i use it for http addresses.
Say my machine name is abc ,
I give >echoping -w 1 -n 2 -v -S abc ..I get

Hi,
I am doing a little experiment with DoS attacks, where I try to rate limit the number of outgoing SYN packets from the compromised machine. I need to calculate the effect of DoS on factors such as http latency. I tried tools like echo ping but it does not give me the tcp latency time with respe

Hi!
I'm running squid as transparent proxy server for dial-up users.

(40-45% is system time). And with a load of 3-3.5 Mbit/s processor load
comes to 90%
