Hi, I have/had the exact same problem.
I can clear my cache, close Iceweasel down (or other browser), restart, choose
the translation again, and the information about previous translation is back
again. (until next time it happens again of course).

did you check if it is Iceweasel blocking the contents (shield icon on the left
of the location bar?) as it is the case for me as I explained before
