Eh eh :)
While I have plans for a memtest86 upload, it is highly unlikely to
happen in the next 2 weeks, so please go ahead, I'll catch up.
Thx,

Well, it's possible to emulate that by dynamically changing the font.
IIRC there is a filter (`dynafont') to do that in the latest version
of `konwert', which will be in potato - doesn't seem to be in the
slink package, at least.

Don't really know. Well, the inter-release interval seems quite large
at least.

e *is* a general need for this, this
should be handled by kbd directly, but I (as kbd maintainer) need to
know exactly what you'd like to see.
PS: Please send such request as a bug-report against the relevant
package next time. Had I not been subscribed to this list, I would
never have re
lity with other dists.

Ideally, the keymap should be encoding-independant
(ie. unicode-defined). But this means hacking the console-driver.

All depends on what the pro

... so it seems to be an important issue. If it is so, we should
definitely move it into hamm before release !

But for now, I do agree that is a good idea. Some additionnal info
telling which languages need work would be nice too.
However, this probably means gettext will have to be distributed in
main, and not stay in experimental. Anyway, I guess it doesn't get
bring much feedback to its a
ether. I've thought
about that, but can't come to a solution with the way all that is done
now. In short, the console driver should be aware of the locale
changes to switch "unicode mappings" accordingly, and feel problems
about that.

Just providing 16-point fonts should be good too, but maybe you
already discussed about that.

Should there be a policy set up on this issue on debian level ? It is
IMHO a problem which should be (and probably already has been) raised
on a higher level (translating teams, I think).
Has anyone clues on this subject ?

Why should kbdconfig output a m4 file ?
; script, so I think I can go on for
your purpose.
I'll try to read the previous threads about that this WE (kept them
but couldn't find time)
