Hi all,
I just want to announce that I will attend FOSSASIA2010 and the
mini-DebConf in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 12-14 Nov. and will host a
workshop there in order to teach how to translate in Debian.
The goal is to get new translators on board.
I will report back after the event.

No, that's not true. Your translation work is not useless, it will go
into the Ubuntu version of debian-installer, which has been modified
from the debian version to fit Ubuntu's needs.

It's not quirky at all. In fact they are very correct, and in many times
"over-correct" (see: RFC 4646). They simply state the language, writing
