I sent the Portuguese translation, somewhere in 2006 - i remember it like it
was today :) - as bug #381663 [1].
But i don't see a pt.po in the source package or in this list.
Isn't supposed the pt.po file to be already included?

I've already done the updates to the first for existing translations, but
not unfuzzied them to allow for review of my changes (as I cannot even
read most of the languages).
Some pages have had additional changes after the last website build, so
you may want to wait
