I installed HURD from the latest DVD ISO at . I might be missing something, but it looks like the graphical installer got the names of the hard drive a dvd drive backwards. /dev/hd2 is the size of the dvd in the dvd drive; and /dev/sd0 is the size of the hard drive I created for the virtual machin

Networking is still broke

Networking on a fresh Debian HURD install is still broken. The machine hangs at getting a DHCP address. The only work-around I have found is to disable the network adapter in the vm's settings. With the network adapter removed the vm will boot. A server without a network connection is not very us
