Perhaps release shouldn't be named as debian-hurd-2017 but as debian-hurd-9.0.0 Then next fixing builds could be 9.0.1, 9.0.2, etc. And next release upgrades 9.1.0, 9.2.0, etc. __ I'm using this express-made address because personal addresses aren't masked enough at this list's archives

I get what Narcis Garcia means by versioning. If I want to report a problem, what do I tell/mention what my version is? We may have different versions. Do we all have to have the same version? Having a different version would be easier to "debug" :) But then again, maybe we are just a small commun
