Package: libc-bin
Version: 2.11.2-7
Severity: normal
getconf -a have many variables set to 0.
for example
LEVEL1_ICACHE_SIZE 0
LEVEL1_ICACHE_ASSOC0
LEVEL1_ICACHE_LINESIZE 0
LEVEL1_DCACHE_SIZE 0
LEVEL1_DCACHE_ASSOC0
LEVEL
safely assume
that indeed libc should perform it, and nacassarly code for ipv6
CNAME -> is missing, but apperently (CNAME -> A) is there.
What do you thinks?
Thanks,

ite.
(I was compiling mainly due to missing inotify_init1 stub syscall
in previous builds of eglibc, due pre-2.6.33 kernel on buildd machines).

Package: libc6.1
Version: 2.11.2-13
Severity: normal
I tested both 2.7-18lenny7 and 2.11.2-13 on other machine,
result is the same:
$ getconf -a | grep LEVEL
LEVEL1_ICACHE_SIZE 64
LEVEL1_ICACHE_ASSOC65536
LEVEL1_ICACHE_LINESIZE 2
LEVEL1_DCACHE_SIZE
think we should just document current behaviour.
PS. Original bug reports of #412569, do not apply anymore.
--version option is working. It still loops, but on any 64-bit
computer I tested, it exit after about 3 to 9 seconds.
And it do not crash anymore in any case.

bout 2**58. Second
it is not bug, returning NULL is not a bug, it is just error condition
conforming to POSIX standards. See my posts to bug #200641.
Thus reasigning back to cyrus-imapd
Thanks

I have options inet6 in /etc/resolv.conf, but few programs,
for example links webbrowser, have problem using ipv6-mapped ipv4

Unstable version looks to do not have this problem.
Thanks, for taking care.

it should be in upstream sources, but looks
something changed.
For some reason I do not have
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cache directory
despite having CONFIG_X86_CPUID=y in kernel.
So, cannot report what kernel says.
