#234691 is the last RC bug for debian glibc package. I digged this
problem, and it seemed it was not glibc iconv(3) problem. I suspect
mkisofs mkisofs iconv patch. Joerg, could you reproduce this problem
on sparc and on i386? Looking at the input data of iconv(3), I
suspected the behavior
