It builds fine on s390, though the java testsuite problems are still there.

Hi,
I have added the patch to our CVS. It fixes a runtime problem on s390. The
fix will hopefully be applied upstream fixed within the next days.

Hi,
I have fixed the s390 build failure in CVS. The failing 'mv' of biarch
libraries is no longer necessary, since upstream installs now to usr/lib64.

2man to build dependencies needed for some gpc man pages.

* Apply cross compilation patches submitted by Bastian Blank.
* Replace s390-biarch patch and copy s390-config-ml patch from 3.2

* Configure using --enable-

Hi,
I am one of the S/390 porters. The latest version of gcc-3.0 doesn't support
shared libgcc for s390. Could you please reenable this by applying the
attached patch.
The latest version is broken, since libgcc is built and used during ru
Hi,
is someone going to upload a new version of gcc-3.0 as long as Matthias is on
vacation? If yes, could you apply the fix from bug report 120452. It is a
trivial fix to reenable shared libgcc for s390. If not, will anybody mind if
I a do a source NMU to fix the problem?
Thanks,
Gerhard

Hi,
we need on s390 a libstdc++ library compatible to the 2.95.2 version. Does
anybody know how to get or build it?
Thanks,
Gerhard

Yes, that's great.
So I assume there is no compat-libstdc++ package around. Maybe I will build
one.
Thanks,
Gerhard

gcc 3.1 is far better than 2.95 and 3.0 on s390. It completes the entire test
suite without any problem and is a lot better in compiling packages,
especially packages

Yes, that would be great, but probably unrealistic. I am currently adapting
the java patch for s390, since it's still not upstream available and your
package doesn't work withou

Hi,
it has worked this time. Here is what I did:
I installed the gcc and gnat 3.1 packages
