I just updated rtorrent to the testing version, and got the same error. It also broke aptitude so I had to fix it manually. Fixed by manually downloading testing version of libc6 from here http://packages.debian.org/wheezy/libc6 and installed it # dpkg -i --auto-deconfigure libc6_2.13-16_amd64.deb
