I found that Ryan Murray has submitted a bug to upstream about this
problem (and an older one exists as well).
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11084
related?

Also Branden Robinson filed a similiar bug recently #196091
Thanks,
Chris

I received this message in email this morning from cron
/etc/cron.daily/man-db:
mandb: warning: /usr/share/man/man1/i386-linux-g++-3.3.1 is a dangling symlink
I had updated g++-3.3 last night and it appears that the installation script
created a symlink like this:
lr
Package: g++-3.3
Version: 1:3.3-3
Severity: minor

AFAICT, this is because the actual man page is g++-3.3.1.gz; please
append .gz to the new symlink's name and target.
