gcc 4.2 seems to be the default on all archs now, which should mean that
coreutils can build the sha2 utilities on s390.

gcc has been building parts of coreutils on s390 (sha384 & sha512) in a
way that silently generates incorrect results. (Caught by tests during
the coreutils build process.) This has been traced to a bug in gcc:

Well, it works everywhere else. GCC compile error? The test that's
failing is the sha1sum validation, the source for which has not changed.
