template generic template foo, with no non-templated foo defined, then
instantiations of foo are *never* 'overloa

Would you object to including a manpage if it were sent to you?

this list because I was wondering:1. Could this have anything to do with updated g++ packages.2. Could someone who understands how the g++ compiler works on arm just take a look at texmaker.

nd I know various other GCC maintainers
don't like them either, but it's RMS who would need to authorise any
licence change; patches (as Zack sent some time ago
<http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2003-01/msg01687.html>) to remove them
are useless without prior FSF approval.

comments on what ought to be done.
I expect a patch that followed the GNU and GCC coding standards, including
thorough testcases, and implemented the simple specification I gave for
-Wconversion (warn for any implicit conversion that may change a value),
would get reviewed.

(probably
a few hundred lines, likely rather longer than the rest of the patch) for
all the different cases of implicit conversion that do warn, or don't warn
because that type conversion can't change values, or don't warn because
that conversion is converting a constant (etc.) to the same value.

virtue of the requirement (6.7.3#8 in C99) that a type qualifier
applied to an array type applies instead to the element type. Thus the
case of 6.5.16.1#1 that would be matched in the case of pointers to
nonarray types adding qualifiers is not matched, thus the warning.

That's perfectly fine, especially given that that a new compiler version
can be expected to break a partial make and auto* will not know it needs
to rebuild everything.
