Ok, i found the cause of this error.
The link /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.1.2/libgcc_s.so points to a
shared library named /usr/lib/libgcc_s.so.1 which does not exist.

I have debian-amd64 testing with automake1.10, autoconf2.61 and gcc4.1.2.
While trying to configure GRUB-0.97 source i got the following error:
#./configure
