I'm attempting to rebuild gcc-3.0-3.0.1ds1 on my PowerPC machine,
because I want to get gcj to work (the older version in sid for
PowerPC is incompatible with the newer gcc, so we'll have to either
get gcj to work or remove it for woody on powerpc).
I started by simply removing powerpc fro

I have been following the compiling of the new version of gcc-3.0 on the
autobuilder for hppa
(/home/buildd/logs/gcc-3.0_1:3.0.1ds0-0pre010727_20010729-2217 on paer)
and the problem seems to be that libgc is not available for hppa, so the
build dependency for libgc5-dev is not matched, an thus
