i hate to propose new ideas at this point in the release cycle, but i realized
that since we haven't yet "released" we might want to consider pulling in
lenny-proposed-updates by default in preparation for a release. this has some
advantages and disadvantages:

i'd like to get a short description of the advantages (and weaknesses)
of a debian-edu/skolelinux network...
i looked over these pages:

any other suggestions for more information to look over?

it would be useful if xdebconfigurator provided a configuration file

so, i'm wondering about ideas for at least some limited remote
participation in the developer gathering, for those who can't physically
be present?

so every now and then, i'm curious about the possibility of including
lessdisks in skolelinux. this obviously requires an evaluation of how
lessdisks compares with LTSP...
one of the main differences between LTSP and lessdisks (as i understand
it):
most of LTSP is a bunch of architecture-indepen

while trying to figure out how debian-edu does it's magic with KDEDIRS,
i think i found a bug in svn (3898) on alioth, a patch is attached.
i'm wondering if it would be possible to give me svn access to
debian-edu on alioth so as not post patches to the list and whatnot-
i've found the occasional

it is relatively easy to avoid this "human bug" entirely by disabling
the shutdown menu for KDM.
