The size of log files on client machines should be limited more
aggressively, on a minimal or workstation install the following log
files have the potential to grow and to potentially enlarge and then
fill up the root partition:
- /var/log/auth.log

files. These files could then be rotated on fixed sizes¹ in order to prevent the

Currently exim4 does not log to syslog but to its own log file
/var/log/exim4/mainlog on the main server, standalone and reular clients. This
means that mail logs are not forwarded to the main server, the question is
whether exim should log to syslog an
