Hi,
I got this idea that I'd like to share.
The Debian Edu should have an unofficial installer with
a better HW support.
Think about your pupils installing
a roaming ws (laptop)... Guess why they would like
to switch to Ubuntu right after the first boot...

I just got the build rules for a wheezy based DVD for Debian Edu. To
test Holgers wish for single archtecture DVDs, I made this first one
single-arch amd64.
It is available via http, ftp and rsync (I hope) using
ftp://ftp.skolelinux.org/cd-wheezy-test-dvd-amd64/

Yes, on amd64 we install an i386 LTSP chroot, based on the old truth
that all LTSP clients had less than 4 GiB RAM
