I've spent some time today investigating the hotplug device problem,
and here are some notes. I believe I have found a working solution,
but it need some more work.
In Debian/Etch, the local devices are accessed using hal over the
dbus, and it is supposed to take care of access control. It is i

Actually, the arguments are for networked workstations, not thin
clients. Thin clients have a different approach. For networ

Also very beautiful. Did you use the vector graphics? I used inkscape
for my wallpapers.
No, i'm actually still using windows so i used photoshop for the graphics.
As for the DVD cover, reading my name on it makes me smile. However, I
doubt that I deserve the honour to be listed within top 20

I just tested, and was unable to verify this. I did a swedish install, and
got an english KDE. The swedish KDE translation isn't installed.

Adding "Language=nb_NO" to /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc gave me localized kdm, atleast on
a thinclient server using etch test-03.

I'm actually using VirtualBox now. I tried installing wmware but it just
kept causing my computer to power down so instead of trying to find out
what
was wrong i switched to VirtualBox and so far haven't had any problems.
