I am happy to report that the Debian Edu Jessie installation is
working again. At least to the point where it is possible to test the
desktop.
The partitioning issues are fixed. It was caused by API changes in
parted affecting several partman related udebs. See

Fixes for this was uploaded a few hours ago. I hope they are ready

I believe this issue is reported as
https://bugs.debian.org/757417 >. It is being discussed on
#debian-boot, and seem to have fairly high priority there. :)

The first failure is with automatic partitioning, which do not work. I
did not figure out why, but managed to get around it
