I can confirm: The WLUS function "Delete all users in Class" works! This
is also true for secondary memberships. Now I am happy there is an
attic - and all homes are still there.
Is there a simple script - or even frontend - to undelete users?
Any hints are very welcome.
Thanks

I'm sure some of you have thought of this already,
but now it has hit the popular press:

According to this prescription you should follow the model of the mobile
phone industry: give the thin client away, and charge for service

dear skoletuxe
i god this hint:
http://www.webhochhaus.de/tobias/project_italc.htm
if you like, test it, it is GPL.
It would be very nice, if it is running within skolelinux.
Italc can give teachers deskktop to pupils and vice versa.
I will try to win this young hacker for skolelinux ;-)

SchoolTool is still very early in its development cycle. It would be
great to have SchoolTool and SchoolBell working out of the box in
SkoleLinux, but I don't think SchoolTool itself s yet ready for active
promotion rather than early testing and feedback.
