serious problem with dpkg in sid

hi.. i was tryng to upgrade from etch to sid.. but after a while apt sad me that was impossible to upgrade dpkg because there where broken dependences...is there something to do? sorry for my english..

debconf in web mode

Hi: I am using dpkg on Potato and I am getting the message below when I type: apt-get install debconf "Debconf is running in web mode. Go to http://localhost:8001/"; and it never comes back to the prompt. How can I put it back to use it in not web mode? thank you so much. Arturo * (716) 422-56
