If you could review the above and confirm it's an APT issue, I
e code review, but that is not the impression that
you gave for the past year. You've frequently worked on a private branch
and referring on -dpkg to changes made in it that have not been pushed
to any public place for a long time. This seems to have happened also
for the last "code review"
asking for. After all, there is nothing that cannot be fixed
later in subsequent uploads.

*If* (I'm not sure it will) integrating some of their features directly
in dpkg-buildpackage can ease the switching from one to the other I
