Hi,
Chapter 4.3.3.1 of the release notes suggest using install-mbr /dev/sdX
followed by mkdosfs /dev/sdX1. On a really blank medium, this doesn't
work since install-mbr does NOT create a partition.

Hi,
adduser has changed quite a bit during the bookworm cycle. We have
deprecated a few command line and configuration options and have renamed

Hi,
the release notes in the "preparing a safe environment" chapter

Hi,
while talking to Paul, we have found out that it might be a good idea to
teach our users that the release notes DO get updated after the release,
something that even I didn't know after 20 years of Debian.

I am really sorry for this. #1037171 is an embarrassing one, sadly too
late for the release, but I'll try to do a fix via spu.

Suggested wording for something along chapter 5.4:
Before upgrading your aide packages, create

Hi,
Paul suggested that I file this bug as a reminder.
The sudo team is considering to remove sudo-ldap after the trixie
release. A possible migration path would be to use libsss-sudo instead.

Hi,
the release notes should contain a chapter about security support, which
should explicitly include an example deb line for debian-security.
