That was my feeling, that most users would probably wonder why it was

Sure, don't run the daemon at all. When you install exim, "rm
/etc/init.d/rc?.d/S*exim" and it won't start. Local processes will be
able to send mail via the /usr/sbin/sendmail link, and there's a cronjob
in /etc/cron.d/exim that'll try to cl

when you need to do something to it.

These are all pretty much bug free (antlr has a couple of wishlist bugs) but
a jikes bug is keeping them out of testing. Does anyone who knows jikes have

ilisp is in fact fixed, it's just the bug has not been closed yet due to a
typo in the changelog. I'll email the maintainer.

ilisp is being removed from woody because of a bug that is fixed but not
closed. According to your changelog the following bugs are fixed, but are not
closed:
125744
140049
138669
137011
98132
12885
Quite simple fixes:
- Fixes build on hppa and quite possibly others.
- Bump version number to replace older packages correctly. (RC bug)
- Fix a minor bug in the description.

I'm not sure if Nicholas reads this list, I had no success contacting him

Hi all,
Due to the recent changes in keyring policy I need to get some
signatures on my 4096bit key. I'm going to be attending Linaro Connect
next month where I hope there should be a few DDs who I can either
track down individually in the hallways or if anyone else is in the
same situation as me

I've just installed Jim Pick's Gnome .20 .debs and they're all complaining
that libungif.so.3 can't be found. Where would it be? There's no
libungif package, according to www.debian.org/packages.html.
thanks,
not.
Thanks for your help. I'm assuming that "libungif" is some sort of
freeware clone of "libgif"?
