should it
(alternatively) depend on the other policies too? Would this need a separate
policy package?
4. Should the policy package be in /usr/share?
Thanks in advance.

So apt-get failed where aptitude found a (straightforward) solution in a
situation, which seems to be quite similar to what is in the logs.

BTW, since #450901 is quite old and there is a simple workaround, wouldn't
it be NMU-able?

3) functions that changed their signatures -- there upstream _did_ change
the API, so if you want applications built with the old version run with
the new one, you have to reintroduce the overloads with the old signatures

The only problem I see is when the configuration ordering is undefined, but
I think it is not a problem for nexuiz as -data doesn't have any post/pre

Hello,
I'd like to ask whether (or when) will KDE4 packages be available in
Debian.
Although KDE4 is not yet stable, it should be already usable for
development
(like porting applications from kde3).
There are packages for Ubuntu. Will they work on Debian?

Hello,
can anyone explain why gcc-4.2 build-depends on libgconf2-dev, libxul-dev,
libart-2.0-dev, libgtk2.0-dev,
lib32asound2-dev, libcairo2-dev, libqt4-dev and several others? It seems
quite strange (well, even
more) to me.

BTW what is the exact reason for this situation?

fix it by
using libglu1-xorg for the dependency (and I needed to downgrade it).
How does aptitude decide which one to choose? Shouldn't it
prefer to do something that won't break other packages? Or should
it ask the user for help?
