I just sent a few style corrections to some packages' description
recently received in -devel.
I wonder whether it would be good to systematically send ITP mail to
debian-l10n-english so that people in that list can review the
packages' descriptions.

Hi,
while I think that for discussions, forums and mailing lists
are the proper medium, I made the experience that its a good

I doubt that.
You can easily run into this problem by using
make-kpkg --rootcmd fakeroot modules-image
and the nvidia module will fail with
fakeroot: FAKEROOTKEY set to 162
