用en_US是无所谓，可如果喜欢看中文，还是不爽的。Console下又不装zhcon这种东西，只好是系统C，启动X时设定zh_CN，我原来是放在xinitrc里的，后来改用gdm，就放到.xsession里，后来gdm这家伙不学好，在缺省情况下不读这个文件了（先Defaultsession会读），干脆放到Xsession.d下面去了，输入法也在这里。gdm自己也要设置语言，这个还没搞清楚它放在哪里。最郁闷的是Gterm只看CTYPE；gVim有时似乎会从上一次的Locale中回不过神来。

只要用 dpkg-reconfigure locales 就可以了。它会修改 /etc/environment.
或者用localeconf也可以。
