Will the new Sarge CD support installing to a LVM environment with XFS format with the
Debian CD, or will that require CD / boot customization by the installer?

Indeed, install done now. Every reboot the /media/cdrom0 dir is removed. I'll have to
dig into this a bit...

"dir getting deleted" error with the replacement drive. Gee, I thought Sony drives
were better than this... ;-)

Never mind, upon looking in the script there is a rm -rf which indeed can nuke dirs! Nothing makes the dir. discover seems to be part of the

So it has been reported. Indeed the discover binary is unable to find much hardware at
all on this GigaByte GA7IXE4 based system.

ne, sure, go ahead and switch packages around. Then it is up to you if you goof your box up, but the CD "hassa work", yes Or am I crazy, are extra steps like recreating
/media/cdrom0 dir cool these days?

When booting from the Sarge CD in expert26 mode, is there a meaning if you end up with a red vs blue background for the install program? I was thinking it was a Debian choice, but upon testing a few
boxes I found it is box specific, not the CD.

maybe a month or so old CD at this point. I had an issue with the jigdo
this week so was unable to pull the CD this week which is suppose to have some
new version of the debian installer. Thus no expirence here with this week's
CD.
