Is cdimage.debian.org the right place for installation images for single
board computers?
i.e. raspberry pi and many others. I'm interested in the odroid HC1 for
example.
These often need non-free packages included, e.g. the arm firmware blobs
signed by the vendor.
I figured out how to insta

phil: sorry that i did transfer so much. the mirror i used (ftp.rfc822.org)
seemes to have only half of the files on some archs like m68k, sparc and
powerpc.

sure, you are welcome.
please use the pseudo image kit, to reduce the load a bit.

my rsync to cdimage.debian.org is running, when it's done i will check
the md5 sums and allow the rsync access again.
btw: shouldn't the various web pages note somewhere to use "-B 8192"
for rsync ? that's necessary for pseudo image to work, IIRC. and it
should also be a lot better than the defau

a warning to people with tc3 images might be nice:
the filenames changed a lot, so you need to rename the files
before rsync´ing.
i didn´t and wondered why everything was so low :-(
but i noticed, so finaly the cd images are available at 129.13.126.5::
but only i386. cdimage.debian.org is full,
hi.
my machine 129.13.126.5 is under heavy portscan / denial of service attacks.
the machine does not much usefull (fileserver), but is a rsync server for
the debian cd images.
maybe other people are scanned, too ?
it´s something like 50 ip addresses doing a portscan at the same time.
that´s n

the machine 129.13.126.5 is under attack by denial of service attacks,
but our network people could not tell me details, why, how, who, ...
moved the debian i386 potato 2.2rev0 cd´s (with one bit error fixed) to
a different machine: 129.13.126.9 (fwi-merkur.wiwi.uni-karlsruhe.de).
the old machine
did an update to 2.2r2.
