Thanks in advance,

It is my experience that working with an offline single-image is way
easier, simpler and faster than creating a local Debian mirror.
Please re-consider this idea.

Hello,
I want to make one big BD XL (100 GB) image of Debian.
I have downloaded 3 Blue-Rays of Debian 8 (amd64).
Before (re-) mastering my BD XL image I need to create one big repository.
How do I merge those into one repo / pool ?
Thanks in advance,

Hello,
Trying to merge 3 Blue-Ray disc images into one BD XL image, I have
stumbled upon a problem:
"debmirror" doesn't seem to support local file system as source. (only
FTP, HTTP, rsync)
Any ideas what to do ?

myself. (+ maybe sell a few copies, to
those Debian users, that feel alike, don't like remote mirrors; amd64
binaries along with source-code)
I also want to use inkjet printer for on-disc Debian graphics.
Thanks in advance,

Dual goal:
1. accelerate access to my repository (as opposed to often slow Internet),
2. as well as keep local backup.
In detail :
It can take many many (5+) hours to install Workstation class Debian system
with lots of packages from the Internet as opposed to half a hour from
local media. (Blue R
burned or
distributed.
And it can be checked when the user boots from said DVD -or- offline
by manually running "checkisomd5" command.
Does Debian has something similar ?

This could help me quite a lot.
BD XL are faster and more convenient than online repository.
BD XL discs of 100 GB already available. (for x86, x86-64 and source).
images on hard disks
for virtualization systems. It's *much* much much faster than using
any online repository.

I'm using 100 GB M-Discs for offline Debian installation. This big ISO
image is also useful for 128 GB Flash Disks / DoKs.
I don't ask for HTTP download, if it's difficult, but a jigdo image.
Thanks in advance,

besides, from a human perspective, it would be very nice to have a
full debian (for amd64 arch) on one physical disc.
one single disc can fir entire Debian in it. Or one flash disk of 128 gig
capacity.

OK, but how to generate single dual-layer BD from those 2 BDs ?

Just compared official DVD-1 to my DLBD-1:
In my DLBD1 I don't have "/install.amd/" (so no bootable kernel)...
Should it be generated ?
