Hi, the regression was introduced by http://www.libburnia-project.org/changeset/4985 in xorriso/write_run.c lines 2361 to 2365. I can get xorriso-1.2.9 -as mkisofs -print-size -b ... -isohybrid-mbr ... to work by re-instating the call of Xorriso_genisofs_add_boot() if -print-size was given:

Hi, hopefully http://www.libburnia-project.org/changeset/5039 fixes the problem with xorriso-1.2.[89] and -print-size without introducing new bugs. The change is small and in theory should only affect the buggy case. In theory ... I would appreciate if this could be tested during the next days.
