Unfortunately we seem to have missed a change that was needed because of the ABI change in 3.1r3. We have not noticed this until now because the old kernels were still included in the archive and on CD images. With 3.1r5 the old images were removed which brought the issue to the surface. The re

The OLPC project http://laptop.org builds daily VM and live cd images that are about 128mb. 128mb isn't much, but it becomes inconvenient when you want to find what build caused a bug, and need to pull the last 5 or so files. currently they are compressing everything using either bzip or squa
