I have sucessfully downloaded the DVD iso images for
sarge-i386 with jigdo. The image was o.k. according to
the jigdo status. When loop mounting the image I get
Input/Output errors reading some of the deb packages.
I get the impression, that all packages beyond the 2GB
of the image canno

If .jigdo files are available for the respective image, you can download
the .jigdo file

While trying to make our cds compatible with DOS again we have identified
several problems, the last one is that we are generating duplicate 8+3
names, which means that some files on the cds aren't accesible to DOS.

I'm trying to make my iso file for sarge-i386-1. After
downloading .jigdo and .template and telling wich mirror
to use, the process stop saying that it has found and
downloaded only 4 of 6902 files and try to write image.
The image grow to 4,10 Gb and then crash saying error 3 -
no space l
Since I am often asked, "In which CD is package xyzzy", and
considering that the answer is most likely a subject change
(plugh... the week after); is it possible to add a
"sarge-i386-total-list.txt" file that has all package list
in one file?
