Hi, I use jigdo-easy to download the iso image from the debian site and I use suse 8.2 release with kde to burn my cd.The download was 650m and the tree on the cd shows three directroies. One is cdrom, where I find the iso image, the other directory is floppy, this is empty, and I have cdrecorder w

Wayne, Your CD won't boot because you wrote the iso as a file to the CD rather than having your CD writing program treat it as a CD image. Not knowing what you are using to burn CDs or what comes as default with suse, take a look at: "http://www.debian.org/CD/faq/#record-unix"; The command line
