after playing with the new mkisofs more i figured out i was calling it
wrong the first time. it can indeed make NewWorld PowerMac bootable
CDs.
the problem is in order for it to do so i must use command line
switches not compatible with mkhybrid. this means either powerpc
images are made
The quick answer: Don't use apt for those packages. Use "dpkg -i *.deb"
in the directory with those packages.
The long answer:
apt-get is for use with archives of debian packages, where you want to
install a package, and want all of the other packages that it depends on
to be installed automa
