apt-get update
apt-get -d install perl-modules gs-common
dpkg --unpack /var/cache/apt/archives/perl-modules_5.10.0-11.1_all.deb
/var/cache/apt/archives/gs-common_8.62.dfsg.1-3_all.deb
This is happening in real dist-upgrades too, see the original report
in #495359.

- integrate Locale::gettext in perl-base (#479681) and mandate that
Essential:yes programs may not load non-Essential XS modules even
opportunistically (inside an eval block) because PERL_DL_NONLAZY
can't be trusted

My first try at a fix would be sleeping a few seconds after the test

just ignoring the exit status of the 'kill'
Hi hppa buildd admins,
it looks like speedy-cgi-perl is somehow quarantined on hppa; 2.22-10
has been in the 'Needs-Build' state for a month now. The 2.22-9 FTBFS
(#486070) should be fixed in 2.22-10, so could you please requeue it?
Thanks for your work on Debian,

Both the cacti and ocsinventory-agent postinst scripts call db_stop before
invoking ucf.
The previous ucf version loaded the templates only if
DEBCONF_ALREADY_RUNNING was set to 'no'; this changed in 3.005 and
apparently broke both cacti and ocsinventory-agent.

Hm, libdbd-sqlite3-perl is failing its test suite too. I'll file a
separate bug about that.

examples given don't crash on 5.10.0, and growing RLIMIT_STACK

#x27;t really know how the perl on the buildds is going to be updated, but
manual intervention may be required to favour debconf-english over
debconf-i18n so as to keep the Essential:yes packages installed. See
http://lists.debian.org/debian-perl/2008/01/msg00220.html
