This package should be named python-kdeextensions, according to the
python policy.
Furthermore, there are several issues in this package that prevent
upgrading to python 2.5:

Justification: Python policy
This package doesn't depend on python. This is a serious problem because
python can be updated to version 2.5 without python-gammu noticing,
making it stop to work.

Thanks, there is definitely something wrong as python-gst0.10 is
optional but it doesn't guarantee that the plugins are installed.
Meanwhile, you can install gstreamer0.10-plugins-base, this should work

you only need a .so for each module,
without versioning (or the lack of versioning that .0.0.0 indicates).

Package: python-ctypes
Version: 1.0.2-4
Severity: serious
The python-ctypes package does not support python2.5. As it is named
python-ctypes, it should provide support for the default python version
(python policy §2.2).
Even worse, as it does not depend on python (<< 2.5) because of
bug#480838,
Package: libepc-dev
Version: 0.3.5-1
Severity: serious
The libepc-dev package currently depends on libsoup2.2-dev. However the
pkg-config file requires libsoup-2.4, which means the dependency must be
libsoup2.4-dev.

Hi,
I’ll upload soon a new version of meta-gnome2 which replaces the
dependency on gnome-cups-manager by system-config-printer. The former is
no longer maintained, neither in upstream nor in Debian, and I think it
should be removed from testing ASAP.

Hi,
thanks for providing the backtrace, it helps a lot in understanding what

Hi,
I’ve successfully configured several Heartbeat clusters using version

your configuration if you want help with debugging.
In all cases, I don’t think this should be a RC bug. Furthermore, there
is no evidence that it applie
Hi,
There have not been any updates to the status of this bug for several

Is there anything that is possible to help fixing this before the
release? I see you consider entirely dropping these declarations, do you

Hi,
according to the dmesg logs posted by the submitter to the ntfs-3g
forum, it seems clear the issue is caused by I/O errors.
I guess this bug should simply be closed.
