Enabling loading the wacom core event devices in xorg.conf (by
uncommenting the commented lines below) breaks loading of the X-server
completely. With them commented out it works flawlessl

Thanks for your quick answer.
/usr/lib/R/site-library/Rcmdr/Meta/ contains the same files as in your
case and they are the same size as well.
Unfortunately, purging and reinstalling didn't change anything.
I could install it directly from CRAN, and it seems to load then, but
doesn't wo

Yes, the same error occurs. So could you please reassign this bug to
xorg then (perhaps xserver-xorg-core)?

Since the last upgrade changing to a virtual console kills the running
X-session. Moreover, it changes everytime to the first virtual console,
no matter which one was chosen (like e.g. Ctrl-Alt-F6)

View renders an "xterm: Can't execvp /usr/bin/elm: No such file or
directory". I didn't find that file in any debian package...

The installation procedure starts mktexfmt which in turn starts etex and
pdfetex instances. They are being started until memory is full and the
system freezes. I have had over 800 instaces of etex.

I didn't check the arguments, but after removing xmltex it in
Version 1.5.0.10.dfsg1-3 works fine.

None that I know of. Maybe it helps to tell that iceape (and icedove for
that matter) starts just fine if I move my man
