I can confirm that this happens on my laptop as well; when a CD is in the

looks to me as if the test program is depending on a read select on stdin to
block, which won't be the case on buildd's

I can confirm that autogen versions 5.8.1-4 and 5.8.2-1 both built in the
pbuilder environment where it broke before, too.
