As Octavian Voicu reported, the patch lets skencil start, but the the actual bug is just prevented from raising an exception. The intended file menu is repeated thrice. Skencil does work, but the bug isn't fixed. But it can be fixed with tiny patch found on: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+
