i moved to enigmail 0.95.7-1 to test another bug (#508766), and the

A similar command line works for me (non-root, cdrom group, random LG USB
DVD burner), so this bug certainly doesn't "render the package unusable".
Downgrading the severity to non-release-critical so it doesn't block
the release of Debian 5.
