I have similar problem, but with 64-bit libs. Everything works OK with
libc6 2.5-11, but when I upgrade to either 2.6-1 or 2.6-2 all 64-bit
applications segfault.
It is possible that this is caused by something local, this is a amd64 system
converted from i386 one, though as I said with 2.5-1
I bought a Seagate FreeAgent Desktop 250GB drive
yesterday, attached it in about 2 minutes, formatted 3
partitions (backup, opt and mymedia), moved the music
files (about 15 gig) from the internal drive in the
laptop to the Seagate, then commenced to do some
