Well, since this is a Team maintained package, I've created a Merge
Request on the Salsa VCS and asked people on IRC to merge and upload it:

I can confirm that amarok 2.9.0-1 builds fine on buster without any changes.

No source changes are necessary.

Seems to have lost support upstream, it's unfortunate as it's still the best

superceeded the older ..18 version in Debian unstable/Buster? Thanks!
