seems that you are not using boinc-app-seti package, and you are getting a
segfault with the upstream downloade

I installed the last version of Boinc and attached the Seti, LHC and
Einstein projects. As I have a Nvidia GPU, I added too the boinc-cuda
packages.
When I start from zero and attach a project, is normal to connect the main
