I rebuild Wheezy's version of libgcrypt11_1.5.0-3 with the patch(no_global_init_during_thread_callbacks.diff) from Ubuntu. I can confirm the new patched version of libgcrypt solves this problem, and I am able to use sudo again. Can someone review this patch and see if it would be a suitable solut
