This bug should be retitled to "doesn't work with Linux Kernel >= 3.0".
The bug still exists in the latest version, I've just opened a bug upstream:

The problem is that there's code wanting to check if the

Justification: renders package unusable
I've installed the bastille package and ran InteractiveBastille to configure
it. When I next try to start it or query its status, here is what I get:
